入选标准
- •diabetic patients with HbA1c less than or equal to 8% with fasting blood sugar of less than 150mg/dl ejection fraction of more than 50% undergoing elective off pump coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG)
排除标准
- •diabetic patients with HbA1c more than 8% with fasting blood sugar of more than 150mg/dl,emergency CABG,CABG done on cardiopulmonary bypass or if intraoperative pump conversion, CABG done with other heart surgeries, anemia with preoperative Hb less than 10g%, Hepatic dysfunction, patients on preoperative steroids, an endocrine disorder with hypercortisolism, bradycardia due to any reason, any active infection, patient critically ill like on mechanical ventiation or inotropes or intra aortic balloon pump
