Inclusion Criteria

ASA 1,2 and 3 patients of either sex

Aged 18-80yrs

Undergoing hip surgeries under spinal anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

Patient refusing to participate in the study

Patient with uncontrolled diabetes,hypertension,cardiorespiratory disorsers, neuropsychiatric disorder, hepatic or renal dysfunction

Local anaesthetic allergy, Coagulopathy infection at the site of block, neurological deficits, on analgesics within 8hours before performing nerve block

To assess the analgesic efficacy of USG guided PENG block versus fascia iliaca block for positioning and post operative analgesia in patients undergoing Hip surgeries under spinal anaesthesiaTimepoint: VAS score at 0,10minutes,20minutes,30minutes after givng the block and during positioning. Later for postoperative analgesia VAS score will be assesed at 0,1hr,2hr,4hr,6hr,8hr,10hr,12hr,14hr,18hr,24hr
