Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1 Patients of smear positive fungal corneal ulcer and or demonstration of fungal hyphae in IVCM( In Vivo confocal microscopy )
  • 2 Size of ulcer more then 5 mm and stromal depth involvement more then 50 percent

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1 patients with corneal thickness less then 400 µm
  • 2 Evidence of concomitant infection with herpes or bacterial
  • 3 No perception of light in affected eye
  • 4 Age less than 18 years or more than 70 years
  • 5 Patients who were unable to complete follow up
  • 6 Perforated corneal ulcer , corneal melting or perforation resulting to surgical intervention (therapeutic keratoplasty), endophthalmitis
  • 7 Not willing to participate
  • 8 Not able to come for follow-up
