Inclusion Criteria
Clinical diagnosis of stroke (6 months – 5 years); aged between 18 and 65 years; ability to follow the instructions; sit-to-stand transfer independence – hold standing position for at least 3 seconds; without Physical Therapy at the moment.
Exclusion Criteria
Non-collaborative patients, those who had a new episode of stroke during the study and those who underwent orthopedic surgery less than 12 months and peripheral blocks less than 6 months.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method to show improvement in performance (time, muscle activation, symmetry of weight transfer in the MIP) in the sit-to-stand transfer of the patients of the experimental group in relation to the patients of the control group through the analysis of ground vertical reaction force performed with force platform, from the observation of a variation of at least 5% in the pre- and post-intervention measurements.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To understand the muscular activation and difference of weight discharge between the lower limbs of hemiparetic patients during the passage from sitting to standing, through the analysis with surface electromyography of the rectus femoris and biceps femoris muscles, from the observation of a variation of at least 5% in the pre- and post-intervention measurements.
