Adolescents and young adults, aged 14 to 21 years, who were adopted or placed in foster care and are willing to participate in an internet-based prevention program. Further inclusion criteria are sufficient writing and reading skills in German and access to the internet by a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or other mobile device.
Acute child endangerment, receiving other psychosocial approaches aiming at (re-)victimization, the presence of severe depressive symptoms (PHQ-9 >15 at baseline), suicide ideation (indicated by a score of >1 on the suicidal thought item of the PHQ at baseline).
