1)Had been diagnosed as cancer,
2)Had pain score of four or greater,
3)Were Buddhist ,
4)Could understand and communicate Thai or northeast Thai dialect,
5)Had no depression symptom as screening by the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ)-9 (9Q) Thai version,
6)Had cognitive intact as screening by the Abbreviated Mental Test (AMT) Thai version,
7)Had no hearing problems,
8)Expressed preference in listening to music and prayers,
9)Had own or primary caregivers smartphone and ,
10)Were willing to participate in the study
Unable to participate to all sessions of the study
