The male and female (12â??18 years old) participants will be eligible if they are diagnosed with Juvenile Fibromyalgia by a pediatric rheumatologist using Yunus and Masi criteria. Additionally, only participants with moderate to high pain-related disability (Functional Disability Inventory score >= 12) will be included.
Participants with a diagnosis of a comorbid rheumatic disease (e.g., juvenile arthritis, systemic lupus erythematous), untreated major psychiatric diagnosis (e.g., major depression, bipolar disorder, and psychosis), documented developmental delay, any medical condition determined by their physician to be a contraindication for exercise, or ongoing participation in any exercise intervention for pain.
