Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients who:
  • •are above the age of 18, with Diabetes type 2, on medication since 6 months or more.
  • •can understand, speak and write in English.
  • •are willing to consent to and participate in this study.
  • •are admitted in the Medicine wards of a Tertiary care Hospital.
  • •are capable of caring for themselves and do not require a caretaker.
  • •regularly test fasting and post prandial blood sugar levels.
  • •who will be coming back to the hospital after a month for a follow up.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients who:
  • •are not willing to consent to or participate in the study.
  • •do not speak English.
  • •are treated on OPD basis.
  • •are below the age of 18\.
