1.Patients diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive disorder according to ICD 10-DCR diagnostic
criteria (F42)
2. Patients diagnosed with treatment resistant OCD defined as non-response to adequate trials
(Adequate dose- 60 mg of Fluoxetine equivalent and adequate duration- 10-12 weeks) of at
least 2 antiobsessive medications, with or without cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
3. Giving written informed consent
1.Patients with any other major neuropsychiatric disorder such as schizophrenia or bipolar affective disorder.
2. Patients with any major neurological disorder.
3.Patients with contraindications to tDCS (Metal implant in the head, pacemaker)
4. Patients who have been newly recruited for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy during the period
of follow up.
