Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Elevated TG/HDL ,TC/HDL and TyG Index are associated with the presence of Insulin resistance .Hence determining the ratio will help significantly to relate IR in Metabolic Syndrome and Type2 Diabetes Mellitus .Comparing them will help predict the better surrogates of Insulin Resistance .Therefore this study is planned to assess and compare TG/HDL,TC/HDL and TyG index as indicator of insulin resistance in patients with metabolic syndrome and newly detected type 2 DM.Timepoint: 2 years
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To identify risk factors in type 2 diabetes mellitusTimepoint: at th point of entry into study
