Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Diagnosis of primary osteoarthritis of the knee.
  • •\-Radiological evidence of knee. osteoarthritis(Grade II/III on (Kellgren–Lawrence grading system).
  • •\-Persistent pain in the target knee despite conservative treatments.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\-secondary osteoarthritis of the target knee
  • •\-Grade IV radiographic stage osteoarthritis (Kellgren–Lawrence grading system)
  • •\-Signs of septic arthritis of knee joint
  • •\-Surgery in the knee within the past six months
  • •\-Systemic or intra\-articular injection of corticosteroids/hyaluronic acid in target knee joint within three months before recruiting
