Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Diagnosis of primary osteoarthritis of the knee.
  • \-Radiological evidence of knee. osteoarthritis(Grade II/III on (Kellgren–Lawrence grading system).
  • \-Persistent pain in the target knee despite conservative treatments.

Exclusion Criteria

  • \-secondary osteoarthritis of the target knee
  • \-Grade IV radiographic stage osteoarthritis (Kellgren–Lawrence grading system)
  • \-Signs of septic arthritis of knee joint
  • \-Surgery in the knee within the past six months
  • \-Systemic or intra\-articular injection of corticosteroids/hyaluronic acid in target knee joint within three months before recruiting
