Inclusion Criteria
A.Patients fulfilling the criteria of Generalized Anxiety Disorder as per DSM IV guidelines.
B.Hamilton anxiety score >17.
C.Age 20 to 40 years, irrespective to gender, caste, socio-economic status etc.
D.Informed consent from the patient showing his willingness to participate in study.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patient suffering from any psychiatric disorder other than GAD.
2.Patient suffering from any major systemic disease requiring significant care.
3.Patient with serious suicidal & Homicidal risk, substance or alcohol dependence.
4.Pregnant women and lactating mothers.
5.Patient not willing to participate in study.
