Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients presenting with diagnostic features of Bahupitta Kamala/ Hepato\-cellular Jaundice for minimal of 7 days.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients contraindicated for Agnikarma as per texts.
  • •2\.Patients with Total bilirubin level more 10mg/dl.
  • •3\.Patients with Alkaline phosphate levels greater than double the normal range (i.e more 300 IU)
  • •4\.Pregnancy or lactating women.
  • •5\.Bleeding disorders.
  • •6\.Uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus (HbA1C more 7%)
  • •7\.Cardiac diseases \[Ischemic heart disease, Coronary heart disease, Myocardial infarction]
  • •AIDS, TB, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.
  • •8\.Obstructive Jaundice
  • •9\.Tumors of Hepato\-biliary system.
