Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •female patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status 1\-2, who were aged 18\-60 years, and were scheduled to undergo general anesthesia and postoperative intravenous patient controlled analgesia for breast cancer surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •psychiatric disease
- •chronic pain
- •history of preoperative analgesics
- •contraindication of fentanyl or midazolam
- •when the PCA cannot be applied to patients
