- •1. Children with at least one soft caries lesion (cavitated active caries lesion)
- •2. Small caries lesion (less than half of the mesial or distal or less than 1/3rd of the buccal, lingual or occlusal surfaces)

- •1. Pulpal exposure
- •2. History of pain
- •3. Non vital teeth
- •4. Swelling/fistula
- •5. Silver allergy
- •6. Arrested caries /inactive lesions
- •7. Teeth at the period of shedding
- •8. Restored teeth
- •9. Secondary caries
- •10. Fluorosis
- •11. Enamel hypoplasia
- •12. Uncooperative children
- •13. Children with physical and mental disability
- •14. Children without signed informed consent
