Stage 1a, 1b and 2a NSCLC (T1: <= 3cm)
The indication for surgery is based on diagnosis and co-morbidity; subsequently, the patient can be included in this study after getting informed consent.
so regarding co-morbidity, if the patient is able to be operated, he/she can be included depending on the in/exclusion criteria formulated on this page
Stage 2b NSCLC and higher, Central location of the tumour, Sleeve resection necessary, Segment resection, age above 18 years old (however, NSCLC has never been described during childhood), patients who are mentally not able to chose whether to be involved in the study or not
