Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients aged 18\-80 years admitted to the critical care unit diagnosed as hepatorenal syndrome on treatment with albumin.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •patients not willing for ultrasound examination,inadequate window and IVC thrombus.
  • •patients with chronic pulmonary hypertension.
  • •patients with raised intra abdominal pressure causing difficulty in ivc measurement.
  • •patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation.
  • •Patients with abdominal trauma causing damage to the abdominal wall and distortion of the anatomy.
