Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with closed intra\-articular distal end of radius fracture.
- •2\. Patients aged 18 and above
- •3\. Patients of either gender
- •4\. Patients medically fit for surgery
- •5\. Patients being managed with internal fixation
- •6\. Patient willing to participate in the study with voluntarily given consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Fractures which can be managed conservatively
- •2\. Fractures which can be managed by k\-wire fixation
- •3\. Infections
- •4\. Mentally\-physically unfit and medical conditions that could pose a life threatening surgical or anaesthetic risk
- •5\. Old fractures of the distal end of radius
- •6\. Patients not willing for surgery
- •7\. Patients medically unfit for surgery
