Inclusion Criteria

•Eligibility criteria include patient age more than 65 years of age with acute hip

Exclusion Criteria

•Patients with following are excluded from the study.
•1\. Multiple/Poly trauma
•2\. Fractures due to neoplasms (primary or secondary)
•3\. Patients transferred from another acute care hospital
•4\. died within 2 days of admission.
•5\. hospitalized for hip fracture in the previous 2 years
