Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\- Individual type 2 Diabetes registered for the first time in the Diabetic clinic.
- •2\- Able to speak and comprehend English, Hindi or Urdu.
- •3\- Able to give and complete consent forms in English, Hindi or Urdu.
- •4\- Able and willing to participate in small Group education sessions.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\- Pregnant women, including those diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
- •2\- Individuals who have been in active treatment for cancer in the past year.
- •3\-Individuals who are currently or have previously participated in a similar program or study.
- •4\-Individuals who are not able and willing to undergo metabolic control tests.
- •5\- Individuals who had severe enduring mental health problems.
- •6\- Individuals who are not primarily responsible for their own care
