- Age of =18
- Atrial fibrillation/flutter with an indication for permanent anticoagulation therapy (i.e. CHA2DS2VASC =1 for man and CHA2DS2VASC =2 for women)
- Percutaneous coronary intervention in the previous 3 days
- Contraindication for Clopidogrel intake
- History of stent-thrombosis
- Patient not suitable for inclusion in the study
(e.g. incompliance, drug abuse, unwillingness to adhere to the protocol)
- GPIIb/IIIa inhibition within the last 24h
- Use of Prasugrel or Ticagrelor within the last 7 days
- Less than 50 thousand platelets per µl blood
