Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Preterm infants off ventilator support weighing
  • •\<1500gm and gestational age ⩽ 32 weeks.
  • •2\. Mothers of preterm infants with working
  • •knowledge of English or Tamil.
  • •3\. Consent from the mothers.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Mothers of babies who have known postpartum
  • •depression or psychosis.
  • •2\. Infants with major respiratory, cardiovascular,
  • •gastrointestinal and neurological disorders or
  • •syndromes and their mothers.
  • •3\. Infants with congenital facial deformities.
