Inclusion Criteria

Antenatal women ( primigravida) with 36 to 42 completed week of pregnancy

Singleton pregnancy with cephalic presentation

Patient must be atleast 4cm or more dilated at the point of inclusion

Exclusion Criteria

Known case of major fetal structural anomaly

Women with history of previous uterine surgery

Women with acute obstetrical complications like APH ECLAMPSIA

Cephalopelvic dispropertion

Active HSV infection PLHA Hbs antigen postive

Genital warts

ANC with other comorbidities like heart disease liver disease kidney disease
