The inclusion criteria will be:
1.carious exposed symptomatic mandibular molars with signs and symptoms consistent with irreversible pulpitis,
2.a sharp and lingering pain on thermal
stimulus and an electric pulp tester,
3.hemorrhaging on access opening.
Exclusion criteria include:
1. known allergy or contraindications
to any content of local anesthetic solution,
2.patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, a history of known or suspected drug abuse,
3. patients taking any drugs that could have affected pain perception.
4.Patients having active pain in more than 1 tooth will be excluded from the study.

Name Time Method Success will be defined as no pain or weak/mild <br/ ><br>pain during endodontic access preparation and <br/ ><br>instrumentation <br/ ><br>Timepoint: The primary outcome will be assessed at the root canal access preparation stage.
