入选标准
- •1. Patient diagnosed with exudative pleural effusion according to Light’s criteria.
- •2. Patient who has undergone ICD placement.
- •3. Age 18 - 50 years.
- •4. Both male and female gender.
排除标准
- •1. Patient who has undergone thoracocentesis procedure.
- •2. Unconscious or alteration of consciousness.
- •3. Pneumothorax.
- •4. Hydropneumothorax.
- •5. Hemothorax.
- •6. Orthopaedic fracture i.e. Rib fracture.
- •7. Cognitive dysfunction or language barrier.
- •8. Any neurological and musculoskeletal problems affecting respiratory pump mechanics or any other condition that impairs the subjects ability to perform the test.
- •9. Hemodynamically unstable patients.
- •10. Refusal to give informed consent to the study.
