Inclusion Criteria

1.Primi gravida with gestational age 36 - 42 weeks

2.Primi gravida only with spontaneous labor.

3.Primi gravida with foetus in normal presentation (Vertex)

4.Primi gravida with single foetus.

5.Primi gravida with 4 cm cervical dilatation.

6.Primi gravida with female birth companion who will be attending training session.

Exclusion Criteria

i.Primi parturient with any chronic disease (DM, HTN) or has been developed in pregnancy.

ii.Primi parturient with any other complication to her or to her baby

iii.Primi parturient who develops complications at the time of delivery

iv.Primi parturient with epidural analgesia.

The birth companion will reduce the pain perception among primi-parturient during the labor from active stage of labor till the birth of the baby.Timepoint: 1 day

The birth companion will reduce the pain perception among primi-parturient in every 2 hours till the child birthTimepoint: Every 2 hours after active stage of labor till child birth.
