简要总结
Data Collection Procedure
1. Smart phone use evaluation will be done using The Smartphone Addiction Scale(2013)
1. Assessment of Forward Head Posture, by two Physiotherapists
- Each participant will be asked to stand in their natural relaxed posture.
- Colored markers will be placed on anatomical landmarks: the tragus of the ear and the spinous process of the 7th cervical vertebra (C7).
- Lateral photographs will be taken from a fixed distance of 1.5 meters using a digital camera. Three times the photographs will be taken and a mean value will be considered.
- The craniovertebral angle (CVA) will be measured using digital software (Adobe Acrobat Reader or Posture Screen Mobile App).
- A CVA less than or equal to 48 degree will be considered indicative of forward head posture.
2. Assessment of Temporomandibular Disorders by a Dentist
-
TMD screening will be carried out using Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders (DC/TMD) Axis I, including:
-
Pain on palpation of the TMJ and masticatory muscles.
-
Joint sounds (clicking, crepitus) during jaw movement.
-
Limitations or deviations during mouth opening.
-
Fonseca Questionnaire-based history of headaches, jaw locking, bruxism, or clenching.
