Age of 18 or older
- Internet & Email access
- moderate depressive symptoms (measured by the GAD, German Version, Cutoff > 22)
- currently on sick leave (more than 1 week, less than six month)
- Back Pain Diagnosis within the last 12 month (M54 in International Classification of Diseases, German Version by
- sufficient knowledge of German language, Computer and Internetability
- Willing to give informed consent and to fill out questionnaires
- Acute suicidal ideation or suicidal attemps in the past (measured with the structured clinical interview for DSM (SKID))
- current or past psychotic disorder (filtered by BARMER)
- current care level required (level 3)
- current other measurement for depression treatment (e.g. psychotherapy, other clinical study on depression)
