Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients willing to participate in the study.
  • 2\.Patients irrespective of sex, religion, occupation will be selected for study with age between 18\-70 years.
  • 3\.Patients having sign and symptoms of Grahani Dosha and who are diagnosed with IBS according to standard ROME IIIrd criteria.
  • 4\.Previously diagnosed case of IBS

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\.Patients not willing to participate in the study.
  • 2\.Patients of either sex below 18 years \& above 70 years will be excluded from the study.
  • 3\.Ulcerative colitis, Crohnâ??s disease, gastric ulcerations and other inflammatory bowel
  • conditions, Parasitic infestation
  • 4\.Amoebic dysentery, acute diarrhoea, bleeding per rectum
  • 5\.Patients on prolonged medication with NSAIDs, analgesics or any other drugs that may have an influence on the outcome of the study
  • 6\.Alcoholic and/or drug abusers.
  • 7\.History of hypersensitivity to the trail drugs or any of its ingredients.
  • 8\.Pregnant /lactating woman.
  • 9\.Patients who have completed participation in any other clinical trial during the past 6 months.
