Inclusion Criteria

with moderate to severe COPD, (post-bronchodilator FEV1> 30% and predicted <80%)

Exclusion Criteria

Exclusion criteria were:
indication and / or use of chronic home oxygen therapy, inability to perform physical tests, symptomatic coronary disease, musculoskeletal limitation and neurological disease.

Comparing the pre and post intervention values, SG presented a significant difference in the following parameters: increase in distance walked in meters , improvement in all scores: CAT Score , Saint George Score and in the improvement of the maximum physical capacity with increase of VO2 (%) and VO2 .
