- Inpatient at the University Hospital Ulm
- Presence of at least one integratively treatable concomitant symptom (respiratory insufficiency, respiratory infections, oedema, constipation, meteorism, irritable bowel syndrome, side effects of antitumour therapy, difficulty falling asleep or sleeping through the night, tension, restlessness, depression (reactive), crisis situation, biographical crisis, vegetative heart complaints, panic attacks)
- Presence of pronounced cognitive deficits
- In the immediate dying process
- Not able to give consent independently
- Survey not possible due to limited ability to communicate (e.g. lack of language skills)
- Contraindications for the patient's diagnoses
