Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Pregnant women visiting JIPMER antenatal OPD/admitted to antenatal ward
- •1\. \>18 years age
- •2\.Singleton foetus
- •3\.Diagnosed as GDM with 75gm OGTT using IADPSG criteria 2010
- •Blood glucose value (mg/dl)
- •Fasting \>92
- •1 hour \>180
- •2 hour \>153
- •One or more values above cutoff will be considered as GDM.
- •4\.Should have been screened for GDM \<24 weeks
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Overt Diabetes Mellitus â??
- •Fasting \>126mg/dl,2hour \>200mg/dl on 75gm OGTT,HbA1C \>6\.5%, RBS\- \>200mg/dl with symptoms of hyperglycemia
- •2\.Known case of Type1/2DM
- •3\. Steroid use
