Inclusion Criteria
Critically ill children from 6 months to <16 years of age with acute kidney injury stage 3 defined by KDIGO criteria
Exclusion Criteria
Children already initiated on RRT, Fluid overload > 10-15%, Severe metabolic acidosis pH <7.1, Severe Pulmonary edema, Hyperkalemia > 6.0 mEq/L refractory to medical management, Uremic encephalopathy, Inborn errors of metabolism/ Intoxication/ poisoning where hemodialysis is required urgently
