Healthy menopausal women under the age of 65 with menopausal symptoms
habitually low Ca intake (< 600 mg/d)
no avoidance to seaweeds and are willing to comply to the controlled feeding
who can consume food intake as usual in about 2 weeks immediately before marine healing program in Wando
females able to stay in the housing provided for the marine healing program
who will not take or administration antibiotics within six months of the start of the marine healing program
A person without menopausal symptoms
Habitual Ca intake above 600 mg/d
taking medications related to calcium metabolism or have a disease affecting calcium metabolism
have had a fracture in during the past 6 months
have severe digestive system disease
taking / administering hormones or steroids
have liver, kidney, or thyroid disease
smokers
