Both freshly detected and previously diagnosed cases of Diabetic nephropathy.
Patients with a clinical positive history of only type 2 DM having clinical features of Diabetic nephropathy like albuminuria, raised serum creatinine and blood urea will be included.
Patients with microalbumin >=30 and <= 299 mg/ 24 hour urine sample will be included.
Patients diagnosed with First and second grade of Diabetic nephropathy will be included. Patients with s.creatine >=1.4 and <=5mg/dl.
Patients with eGfr >=60 and <= 120ml/min/meter sq. will be included.
Patient aged below 18 years and above 65 years, pregnant ladies.
Patients with type 1 DM will be excluded.
Patients with macroalbumin that is >=300 mg/24 hour urine sample will be excluded.
Patients with an eGFR (glomerular filtration rate) less than 60 ml/min/1.73m2.
Patients with serum creatinine level above 5 mg/dl.
Female patients having pregnancy, lactating or post-delivery period.
Patients suffering from HIV, TB other infectious diseases, malignancies, major psychiatric problems or any other serious illnesses.
Patients with uncontrolled blood pressure will be excluded.
