Inclusion Criteria
  • Patients with acute liver failure in encephalopathy grade 2-4
Exclusion Criteria
  • alcoholic hepatitis
  • primary non function liver graft or graft dysfunction
  • known chronic liver disease
  • known malignancies
  • clinical suspicion of brain death
