- •ASA 1 AND 2 PATIENTS
- •EXPECTED DURATION OF SURGERY 1\-2 HOURS
- •MODE OF ANAESTHESIA IS GENERAL ANAESTHESIA
Exclusion Criteria
- •PATIENTS UNABLE TO COMPREHEND THE REQUIRED COGNITIVE ASSESSMENT TESTS.
- •HINDI MENTAL STATE EXAMINATION10 SCORE \<\= 26 PREOPERATIVELY
- •KNOWN CASES OF ANY PSYCHIATRIC ILLNESS.
- •HISTORY OF CEREBROVASCULAR ACCIDENT.
- •KNOWN DISORDER AFFECTING COGNITION.
- •KNOWN HISTORY OF ALCOHOL/DRUG ABUSE.
