1.For the group of preschool or underfive children:
a.Children 9 months or older AND (either <5 years old OR still not eligible for formal elementary school education)
b.Informed consent given by both parents
2.For the group of school children:
a.Children aged 6-11 years
b.Residing in goitre endemic areas
c.Informed consent by parents
d.Assent by the participating child
3.For the group of pregnant women:
a.Pregnant women registered at the study center
b.Informed written consent
