- •INCLUSION CRITERIA: gestational age < 34 weeks, birth weight <1500 gram , respiratory distress syndrome (hyaline membrane disease). EXCLUSION CRITERIA: gestational age > 34 weeks, birth weight >1500 gram, intrauterine growth retardation, other respiratory disease without RDS.
