•patients over 18 and under 76.
•-patients who recieved an endoscopy within 12 weeks from their first visit.
•-patients who report heartburn/regurgitatio symptoms at least one time/week for the past one months
•-patients with a GERD-Q score of over 8
•-patients who understand the study protocol and can participate during the study period
•-patients who agree to participate in the study
•-child bearing patients who agree to contraceptives during the study period

•-patients who cannot receive an endoscopy
•-patients with esophageal strictures, peptic stricutres, esophageal varices, long segment Barrett esophagus, active peptic ulcers, peptic ulcer bleeding, malignancies, eosinophilic esophagitis1
•-primary esophageal motility disorders
•-patients who received surgery of the upper gastrointestinal tract other than simple closure of ulcer perforations or endoscopic reaction of being tumors.
•-patients with allergies to antacids, PPIs, P-CABs
•-patients receiving medication for psychological disorders
•-malignancies within 3 years
•-pregnancy or breastfeeding
•-past history of psychological disorders within the past 5 years
•-expected for hospital admission or surgery
•-determined by the investigator to be inappropriate to participate
