Inclusion Criteria
- •diagnosis of multiple myeloma
- •to be treated with Melphalan pre\-transplant
- •ECOG 0,1,or 2
- •Fit for autologous stem cell transplant at Nepean Hospital
- •Participant willing to participate in the trial
- •carer available
- •transport and driver available
- •complies with cohort distance requirements

- •Not fit for Autologous stem cell transplant
- •Unwilling to participate
