1.Patients acceptance
2.Patients aged above 20 and below 65 years
3.ASA status I and II patients
4.Patients undergoing elective infraumbilical surgeries under spinal anaesthesia
5.Surgeries involving lower abdomen, urological, gynaecological, orthopaedic and lower limb extremity
1.Patient denial
2.Absolute contraindications for spinal anaesthesia
3.Combined spinal epidural anaesthesia
4.Known hypersensitivity or allergy to study drugs
5.Pregnancy and lactating mothers
6.Morbid obesity (BMI >40)
7.Age below 20 years
8.Infection at the site of sub arachnoid block
9.Bleeding and coagulation disorders
