Inclusion Criteria
1. Female sex
2. Age greater than 18 years
3. Body mass index (BMI) = 25 kg/m2
Exclusion Criteria
1. A history of chronic systemic disease (with the exception of hypertension).
2. Celiac disease.
3. Type 2 diabetes.
4. Pancreatic and/or liver diseas.
5. Current or recent (within the preceding month) treatment with CLA or agents interfering with fat digestion and/or absorption (chitosan, orlistat, green tea)
6. Pregnancy
