We are comparing efficacyof ultra-sound guided peri-capsular nerve group block with and without lateralcutaneous femoral nerve block for postoperative analgesia in patients between age group of 18 to 80 years of age undergoing fracture hip surgery. The aim of the study is to compare the efficacy of ultra-sound guidedperi-capsular nerve group block alone with peri-capsular nerve group block and lateralcutaneous femoral nerve block for postoperative analgesia, taking a total sample size of 46, 23 patients in each group.

Inclusion Criteria
- 1.Patients of age 18- 80 years.
- 2.Patients fulfilling American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA)18 physical status I, II & III criteria.
- 3.Patients with preoperative Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) score >3.
Exclusion Criteria
- 1.Coagulopathy.
- 2.Infection at the site of injection.
- 3.Allergy to local anaesthetics.
- 4.On opioids for chronic pain.

Name Time Method Duration of analgesia (time for first request of analgesia). 24 hours in post operative period
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.Mean Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) score post block over 24 hours. 2.Ease of spinal positioning (EOSP) score 30 mins after the block.
