Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • (1\) Patients 18 years of age or older, regardless of gender.
  • (2\) Patients who meet any of the following criteria are eligible
  • 1\) Patients with spinocerebellar degeneration who meet the diagnostic criteria of Definite or Probable according to the Intractable Disease Information Center of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan.
  • 2\. patients with clinically established MSA or clinically probable MSA according to The Movement Disorder Society Criteria for the Diagnosis of Multiple System Atrophy Patients with multiple system atrophy
  • Patients with Parkinson's disease who meet the criteria for Clinically Established PD or Clinically Probable PD in the MDS Clinical Diagnostic Criteria for Parkinson's Disease.
  • 4\. patients with progressive supranuclear palsy who meet Probable PSP or Possible PSP in Clinical Diagnosis of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy: The Movement Disorder Society Criteria
  • 5\. patients with basal ganglia degeneration who meet Probable CBD or Possible CBD in Criteria for the diagnosis of corticobasal degeneration
  • 6\. patients admitted to the Department of Neurology with diseases other than 1\-5 who have ataxia of the upper limbs
  • 7\. patients admitted to the Department of Neurology with diseases other than 1\-5, who do not have upper limb ataxia.
  • (3\) Patients who can move their upper limbs with sufficient range of motion on their own.

Exclusion Criteria

  • (1\) Patients with motor impairments in the upper extremities that are difficult to evaluate
  • (2\) Patients with visual acuity or visual field impairment that is difficult to evaluate
  • (3\) Patients with cognitive impairment that makes evaluation difficult
  • (4\) Other patients who are judged as inappropriate by the physician.
