The use of MT in combination with standard therapy is recommended in MDD patients since MT has been shown to be effective in reducing depression. There were no serious adverse effects from MT in our study. Moreover, MT might promote protective factors that reduce suicidal thoughts

- •The inclusion criteria were 1) Patients aged 20 years or over who were diagnosed with 1st episode major depressive disorder 2) Patients with acute phase major depressive disorder with mild to moderate severity 3) Patients who were able to listen to music continuously for 20 minutes, and 4) Patients who received antidepressants according to standard treatment guidelines.
排除标准
- •The exclusion criteria were 1) Patients with communication and listening problems 2) Patients with delusional hallucinations 3) Patients with severe heart diseases and 4) Patients with epilepsy
