Inclusion Criteria
children admitted to hospital with at least one specific lower respiratory signs:
1. Fast or difficult breathing, chest wall indrawing and/or
2. abnormal findings on pulmonary auscultations (crackles/cre[pitations and/or bronchial breath sounds)
Exclusion Criteria
1. children with a history of chronic illness such as chronic cough or chronic pulmonary diseases, asthma or congenital heart diseases
2. children who regularly taking vitamin or mineral supplementations
3. children who had history of any drug allergy
