- •uomini o donne di eta` compresa tra i 18 e 24 anni; pazienti sottoposti a PTCA elettiva per angina stabile; assenza di segni di infarto acuto recente o in atto; pazienti stabili da un punto di vista emodinamico; pazienti in grado di dare il consenso informato scritto.
- •Presenza di una stenosi coronarica>70% con indicazione a trattamento mediante PCI; almeno una delle lesioni da trattare classificabile in classe Ellis B2 o C; almeno due lesioni da trattare con stent di lunghezza complessiva maggiore o uguale a 45mm; pianificazione di un optimal stenting.

- •Elevazione di CK-mb o troponina pre-procedura; controindicazione ad uso dei farmaci antiaggreganti; ritiro del consenso informato; pertecipazione ad altra sperimentazione clinica; pazienti incapaci o con bassa volonta` di cooperare; gravidanza o allattamento; precedenti di abuso di droghe; episodi emorragici negli ultimi sei mesi; ictus o stroke negli ultimi 6 mesi; Creatinina serica> 2,5mg/dl; somministrazione di GPI delle ultime 2 settimane; somministrazione di eparina non frazionata nelle ultime 12h; conta piastrinica<100.000/m3; frazione di eiezione<30%; instabilita` emodinamica; storia clinica positiva di malformazioni cardiache, neoplasie, aneurismi, insufficienza epatica; chirurgia nei 6 mesi precedenti o successivi.
