Inclusion Criteria
All patients over 18 years of age admitted to ward and receiving nasogastric
tube feeding.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients having
Ischemic bowel
Bowel obstruction
Exacerbation of inflammatory bowel disease
Acute variceal bleeding
Patients deemed to be at high risk for anastomotic leak
Patients on mechanical ventilator.
Patients with respiratory diseases
Unconscious patients
