A Correlational Study on Psychological Well Being and Academic Performance among Undergraduate Students at a Selected University in Mangalore
The study aims to assess the relationship between psychological well being and academic performance among undergraduate students at a selected university in Mangalore Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale is used to measure students levels of well being while academic performance is determined through their percentage of marks A correlational research design is adopted to examine whether higher psychological well being is associated with better academic performance Data are collected from undergraduate students through standardized questionnaires The findings are expected to provide insights into how emotional and psychological health influences students’ academic success and to guide interventions that promote mental wellness in educational settings

Inclusion Criteria
- •Undergraduate students of Nursing Pharmacy and Ayurveda medicine aged 18 to 24 years Enrolled in full time bachelor program.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Performance data is unavailable or incomplete.
Outcomes
Primary Outcomes
Psychological well being score measured using Ryffs Psychological Well-Being Scale The mean total and domain wise scores will be used for analysis
Time Frame: Baseline single assessment during data collection period
Secondary Outcomes
- Academic performance measured using the percentage of marks obtained in the most recent university examination The correlation between psychological well being and academic performance will be analyzed(Academic performance data will be collected once along with the psychological well-being assessment)
